For example last Friday, New Year's Day we had a unique experience thanks to a holiday gift from one of our sons and his wife which took us to Spain and introduced us to one such individual in the entertainment business, Santiago ( Santi). Santi's passion and job is being a Flamenco guitarist and composer with a Flamenco dance company in Madrid, Spain. As you can well imagine due to the virus tourism has been greatly affected.
Being immuno compromised we also can't have our own salon within our home with a musician and guests but were able to attend this Evening with a Flamenco composer and learn about the history of Flamenco in Spain -its rhythm/beat, melody, harmony, lyrics, etc... from the comfort of our own living room from Santi's Madrid studio. Via Zoom Santi shared some of the 140 different Flamenco styles with us and three other individuals. In this informal event questions were encouraged and there was even time for some chit chat, making the event even more personal.

Through AirBnB's web site there are 100's of cultural opportunities many originally in person but now offered online to participate and enjoy nationally and internationally. Everything from magic, storytelling, cooking, wine pairing and all genres of musical events.
