tUESDAY tUNES is one of Janis Ian's songs. She entered the music scene at 16 and, remarkably, didn't realize she was a sign of social change. Ian's career spanned 6 decades.
In the mid-'60s, she had a hit with Society's Child, which stirred up controversy, even death threats due to its topic of an interracial relationship.
Many are familiar with her 1975 hit At Seventeen and the many Grammys that followed.

I caught a blurb on FaceBook about a documentary called Janis Ian: Breaking Silence directed by Varda Bar-Kar. It's a long-overdue documentary about this artist. Her songs are just as relevant as they were back then. You can view it on Apple TV, Prime Video or YouTube
