TBT took on its own life on FB as I posted a memory of my Natureman due to his calendar birthday Thursday August 21st.. Over 200 of you reacted with hearts and likes and many left such lovely comments. The man touched so many lives in his life's work of bettering this world. Thank you for remembering him and your efforts to carry on his work.
Irv had been given the first Drum Major Legacy Award at what would be, unknowingly, our last attendance at La Crosse's MLK Day celebration... Friend Maureen left this lovely message "using the words of Martin Luther King, Jr., Irv was a drum major for justice, a drum major for peace and a drum major for righteousness."
May we all carry on being those drum majors in our own ways.
