28 folks visited both Vancouver and Victoria this past week but unfortunately, illness greeted us early in our adventure. I think we counted 7 total who possibly had COVID symptoms. We won't know until the end of this week how many of us contacted and tested positive due to our trip and four airport stops.
Since my roommate was exposed in her first Canadian group to COVID, we not only did not room together in Vancouver but also made sure to wear masks. Then maskwearing in our tour bus was suggested and then all opted to be maskwearing when our first case appeared.
We all also joined a croupy waiting room at our return airport gate in Dallas with cruise ship participants who weren't wearing masks. Fun, fun, not.
As they say, this will be the new normal...
Hopefully all infected will recuperate quickly.Be sure and take those flu shots too!
