I have been reflecting a lot this Jewish New Year on good deeds, some done and many still to be done. We all can make more time to do things for others. My mother-in-law Esther (z"l) would say "in Jewish" we call these do-gooders- Mitzvah Do'ers.
Thursday morning I had the pleasure of once again attending the Hunger Alliance Breakfast where so many Mitzvah Do'ers were being recognized for their community service. Unfortunately, my vantage point was not great for capturing all the Kodak moments of the recipients but the list is below.Kudos to Kathy Webb and Capi Peck, two exemplary local public servants who among many other things happen to both have seats on the Little Rock City board and are stellar volunteers with Arkansas Hunger Alliance efforts.

Kathy Webb is retiring from the Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance board after 11 years of service and also as one of her mitzvahs surprised her co-madre Capi Peck by naming a new award in Capi's honor.
Thank you for all you do to make our communities better.
