$5 DINNER?

Last month we partook in a lovely dinner community program held at the La Crosse People's Food Co-op.  For a mere $5 one can be entered in a grand raffle, enjoy dinner and entertainment with fellow community members. 

This past monthly dinner consisted of creamy smoked chicken & vegetables over cavatappi pasta with garlic bread/a vegetarian option of blackened tofu, vegan cajun beans and rice with gluten free corn bread muffin. Either entree was also accompanied by a   mixed green salad with maple balsamic vinaigrette dressing. 

Dinner was paid for at the cash register near the deli counter and then one carried one's tray upstairs to Hackberry's dining room where as we ate we enjoyed music provided by Under Paris Skies.

This $5 Community Dinner will be offered every third Wednesday 4 - 7pm of the month. What a lovely community service and also provide an opportunity to do some grocery shopping while you are there.
