FOTO FRIDAY: SHOW YOUR FACE

FOTO FRIDAY: Here in the End of the Rainbow Valley new blooms appear daily at this time of year. Yesterday, specifically it was the poppies. Poppies can be very fickle as to how they do where they are planted. They appear to be happy where they are.

Unbeknownst to us we have two different kinds which were gracious enough to open in time for company yesterday and why they get featured.

My affection for poppies started in the Wizard of Oz when Dorothy felt so tired as she walked through the field of poppies. Do you remember that scene?

Wanna share your blooms? Please do.

Last week's was PULLING ONESELF UP BY THE BOOTSTRAPS

  1. I just planted some of the orange Icelandic poppies in my tiny garden space. It's amazing how many plants you can cram into a little area, although I have to be much more selective now.

  2. I love the Himalayan blue poppies we saw in New Zealand...
