Cool and cooler...

Look what came out of the garden today! Broccoli, cauliflower and cukes...

What a gorgeous haul!

I'd say we are cucumber rich for sure as this year has been a bumper crop.

Wouldn't you?

I needed 6 pounds of cucumbers to make a new cold cucumber soup recipe and as you can see that wasn't going to be a problem except for one thing. The weather. It was a cool dreary rainy overcast day. So the cold soup was put on hold and instead we enjoyed a hot bowl of last year's canned End of the Garden Soup.

To add to the perfection of the day's bounty  Natureman pulled a heart shaped radish out of the End of the Rainbow Valley's veggie garden... How cool is that?
