LAST MONDAY MUSINGS: A FULL WEEK

Last MONDAY MUSINGS reflect on a week chock-full of tradition, family, friends, holiday parties, cooking, eating, listening to music a little shopping and sadness as well...

Spending time with both my Reform and Traditional congregations was comforting. An extra special Interfaith gathering at Second Presbyterian served to not only celebrate the last candle lighting of Chanuka but also help break the silence re: antisemitism in today's world. It was an emotional gathering providing an opportunity for all to hear about religious freedom.

It was important to share this time not only with Jewish brethren but also to be with our general community, especially in a church whose congregation has been the Temple's friend for many years. We have shared our buildings when each needed a place to meet. Thank you Second Presbyterian for being such good neighbors!

And a big THANK YOU to all those who joined us that evening ...
