MODAY MUSINGS are a reflection of a lovely Mother's Day this year as it held more meaning since I shared it with my daughter-in-law as she celebrated her first Mother's Day.
hiking one of the San Mateo county trails,
Edgewood Trail.
Lotus, lamb dumplings, beef lo mein and tendons were especially yummy after the uphill hike .
The next stop was visiting the San Mateo Rose Society's Garden with roses in full bloom.
a couple garage sales and a great find of a free shovel,
a delicious homecooked steak 'n chicken dinner followed by a new Netflix movie Nonnas , a true story about a NYC restaurant with home cooking by real Italian grandmas.
*I almost forgot to mention the Facetime call from the Atlanta offspring and her family while they were enjoying the Atlanta botanic garden...
What could be better than spending the day with family?
