DEMOCRACY'S NOT A SPECTATOR SPORT, WE CAN DO IT!



Local and regional groups which act locally for Climate Sustainability gave the community and each other an opportunity to connect and network this past Saturday at the Climate Action Festival hosted by the Coulee Region Climate Alliance.

Attendees could also assess one's carbon footprint and create an action plan besides viewing interesting videos re: sustainability.

An IDEA board was set up for participants to leave suggestions for how to make our lifestyle, community, environment and world more sustainable. 


Democracy is not a spectator sport as one of the event posters stated. The Climate Action Festival certainly provided an excellent opportunity to learn more about being sustainable and about becoming more involved in the process. We definitely can all do our part.
